Sam Lowy…

Sam Lowy is an award-winning Creative Director, Copywriter, and Commercial Director who's spent over a decade turning wild ideas into actual things people see—like directing professional athletes who are way more famous than he is, staying awake for 24 straight hours to livestream a publicity stunt (it worked, and yes, he made the front page of Adweek), and creating campaigns for brands like Wayfair, Snapchat, Jägermeister, Carvana, the Phoenix Suns, Discount Tire, and the Arizona Lottery.

He's done it all: bus shelter ads, giant installations, social media videos that actually got watched, and national broadcast spots. Along the way, he's racked up some hardware—a National AAF Gold ADDY (2018), a Rocky Mountain Emmy (2019), AAF Phoenix Young Person of the Year (2019), and a Radio Mercury Award nomination (2018). He's also been a judge for various AAF competitions, which mostly means he gets to see a lot of really good work and occasionally some really... interesting choices.

These days, Sam is Co-Founder and Creative Director of Amanti Creative, a creative and digital studio he runs with his wife Megan out of Phoenix, Arizona. They work with brands who want smart, effective creative without the agency bloat. (Also, they share an office, which is either romantic or a terrible idea depending on the day.)

When he's not working, Sam is a full-blown comedy nerd. He's written, performed, and directed at The Second City (Hollywood) and Upright Citizens Brigade (New York), and has performed at festivals like the Del Close 72 Hour Improv Marathon, Bird City Comedy Festival, and San Francisco Sketch Festival. His current project is called Pizza Party, and yes, they do Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.

When he's not chained to his desk, stealing food from the craft services table on set, or doing make-'em-ups on stage, he's at home with his incredible wife and their four pets: two dogs (Diego and Barkley) and two cats (Dusty and Panda). The pets have not yet contributed to any campaigns, but he's working on it.
